Tuplets
Bullet Shih aktív kiállításszervező is: empatikusan szervezi homogén közösséggé az igen különböző művészeti hangokat képviselő alkotókat. Teret enged a kortárs művészet aktuális rezgéseinek, élesebb hangjainak is.

A kiállítást átadom, szeressék, szeressétek.

Tuplets
Bullet Shih actively organizes exhibitions, too: with empathy he blends the quite different artistic voices into a homogeneous community. He lets in the recent vibrations and sharper voices, too. This organizing power and throbbing describe his own works of art. He exalts his everyday experiences to symbols, and he fills their inner components with expressive gestures. He is luckily not a mechanical artist, it is not about the explosion of pixels but the energetic vibe of colors and surfaces. Everyday phenomena, objects and signs will thus become living icons in his pictures.

What is a real picture? Alright, I’m just kidding, I’ll not start from this far.
It should be noticed though, that the great strength of the exhibition is its subjectivity. In our world, where everything is over-aesthetisized, it is not enough to create something that is beautiful on its own. ”Beautiful” is not an aesthetic category anyway. What is it that an artist can give to their audience? Maybe the possibility to create a system by summing up their own subjective reality, in which we can discover new qualities never experienced before. Because it is the individual experience that cannot be re-produced again. And Bullet is not tired to produce them on and on: he frequently participates in workshops abroad, works in movie and music projects, his experiments with materials and art history are undisputed. Then in a still, quiet place he reduces his everyday experiences and found objects and uplift them into symbols and archetypes. (In brackets: is there such a thing as an archetype for a chicken leg?) He then fills up these symbolic bodies with ”feeling” gestures (and this here is the most important), many times by de- and re-organizing the colour of their inner nature in a vibrating manner. These are colourful noises, that become a different type of music: oratorios, mechanical sounds and folk songs. The big, seemingly empty, often depressing background also vibrates around the lonely, envisioned figures… this duality can make the pictures move and keep them moving. Because the pieces of reality he found are not only made into metaphors. His own emotional attachment elevates them into loveable and piteous Veronicas (vero icons).
This exhibition gives us a piece of that, but I suggest that you look up Bullet’s other works: on his webpage or personally asking him. I’m sure he can tell us a lot. Hereby I’m giving the exhibition over to you, please love it.
