Szabó Eszter munkái többnyire vékony, áttetsző anyagokra festett olaj, vagy akvarell képek, illetve rövid, loopolt videó munkák.

Az emberi esendőséget, a hétköznapi élet kis kínjait, és az emberek vágyait, ezek eredetét és lenyomatait kutatja. Az alkotói folyamat legnagyobb részét apró megfigyelések képezik.

„Idomok” c. három csatornás videó munkája, és kis gumira festett képeiből készített loopjai mind olyan visszatérően ismétlődő mozgásokat dolgoznak fel, melyekből kitörni „képtelenség”.

The works of Eszter Szabó are mostly oil or water-color paintings on slim, transparent materials and short, looped videos.

She explores the human frailty, the small torments of everyday life and the desires of people, the origin and imprint of these. These small observations make the uttermost of the creative process.

Her three-channel video called „Shapes” and the loops made of small  paintings on rubber process such recurring movements of which is impossible to break out.
